The top three started on the rapidly degrading super soft tyres, with Louis Deletraz and Callum Ilott jumping pole-sitter Sette Camara to run line astern until the pit stops at the end of lap six.

Female UAE F4 racer Al Qubaisi wins F1 support race
Taking part in the non-championship race filled with regulars from the F4 United Arab Emirates Championship, the Abu Dhabi native took pole position and streaked to victory by over three seconds.
In the process she beat Nicola Marinangeli and Alex Connor, both driving for F4 UAE dominators Xcel Motorsport.

Hubert report to be signed off by FIA next week
Hubert lost his life in a multi-car accident on the Saturday of the Belgian Grand Prix, which started when Giuliano Alesi spun at Eau Rouge and ended with Hubert hitting the barriers at the exit of Raidillon and being hit at speed by Juan Manuel Correa.

Raghunathan escapes second F2 ban on technicality
Raghunathan amassed 12 penalty points after the feature race at Paul Ricard and was banned for the next round at the Red Bull Ring.
As the regulations were originally written for F1 and later rolled out to its support series, however, the wording of the rule stipulates that the driver is banned for the next round, as F1 only has one race per weekend.

DAMS driver Sette Camara had topped the practice session – a whopping seven hours before qualifying started owing to the series bookending the day – and delivered a storming final sector within the last two minutes of the latter session.
